Vintage Ralph Lauren and Frye...Oh, My!

I love up-cycling and mixing vintage finds into my fashion style. Whenever I go to flea markets or antique malls, I search for gently used items that have a timeless look. In many ways, you can't beat the quality of vintage clothing and fabrics. They were often sewn well with plenty of seam allowance in case you needed to alter it, and the woven fabrics are especially lovely as opposed to what you find now.

Here I'm wearing a vintage Dana Brooke merino wool sweater, a Ralph Lauren silk scarf ($3 flea market find!), a pair of vintage Frye mules ($15) and this adorable handmade 1960's Etienne Aigner basket purse with a leather handle ($15). The search is half the fun!

Do you like scouring flea markets for vintage clothing and accessories, too? Please leave a comment!
